baby light my fire

Baby, light my fire! Truly, I am ready to light this brand new year up with lots of good things.
I hope everyone is feeling good getting started today and that your breaks were wonderful.

This year, I am stepping up my game and have been inspired to create a “30 minute a day” sketch. I was inspired by fellow Rivertown artist Jennifer Orkin Lewis of August Wren. She kept a sketch book for 2014 which is amazing. Over a holiday tea I hosted, Jennifer brought her sketchbook and it was so much fun seeing it live!

I have a sketch book too but I’ll be using it for notes and doodles and then creating my artworks on paper or canvas. Here I come 2015! Happy January to you!
