pleasure principle

good morning pancakes

Earlier this Summer, my youngest and I traveled to Mexico and had a wonderful time.  One reply from the staff that seemed to be the signature of the resort where we stayed was, “It’s a pleasure” whenever they served us or tended to our needs.  It made me think of how each day, it really was a pleasure for them to serve lovely cool drinks or even provide you with a fresh towel by the pool.  It left me inspired to know that I can create small pleasures for myself and my own family.  Yesterday morning, I created good morning pancakes with pleasure.  Do you ever think about how your happiness can spill over and provide pleasure to those around you.  Perhaps with all the pain and suffering in this world, if we all devoted more time to seeking and providing small pleasures it would be a happier place for many.  Seek pleasure, not pain.  Pardon the images along the top of my blog that are not allowing me to load them straight, still working on my own technical difficulties with the switch to wordpress.
