Kentucky Derby

The 138th running of The Kentucky Derby will take place on Saturday.  

This work of art by Robert Joyner makes me feel as though I am right there in the mix.  

This work has a sort of “Mad men” air to it, love her green dress, the red nails, mint juleps in hand and his classic southern proper navy blazer and straw boater….I admire the fierce and fast brush strokes.

Hope you will be watching the race with a mint julep in hand.
