my gate

All the years I lived in Manhattan, I never even noticed “my gate” at the entrance of Central Park South. “Artist’s Gate” sculpted in stone caught my attention. It is true that as a tourist, one does see more of the city. Did you know that there are twenty-two gates with various professions that have been carved at various entrances?
