pioneering and designing

Last week was a challenging week and I thought what it must have been like to live in a time where there were no creature comforts, not even a mouse as we know it.  It is then, that I realize what attitude gratitude can do for one’s soul.  I am thankful for the pioneer women and the colonial dames who have gone before us with spirit, strength and soul.

One such spirited pioneer woman worth looking to is writing a story that will make your heart sputter and spur.  Her photos of her world on a farm are amazing and make me long for wide open spaces, wranglers and butter.  She has a way with words and recipes.
