Slow down and look

The “slow movement” is picking up in areas of living from travel, cooking, religion, schools and even the internet.   Many articles as well as web sites are gaining speed in regards to slowing down or doing things that make one in less of a “hurry.”

One can spend so much time actually doing that one does not take the time to slow down and enjoy the process.  
My sister took a painting class and her teacher would always say in her broken english, “More look, no paint.”  I encourage each of you to slow down and look.  If you look closely at this brownstone, the owner and her dog are taking it easy and enjoying the day.  When was the last time, you stopped to slow down.   Allow yourself time to take a minute and to honor life in slow motion.  You will be surprised at what you see.
